What version model year did these heads come off?

Would these heads work with v5/6 sti bottom end?

I bought the bare castings from a tuner so I don't know what model/year they were from. They were fitted to a CDB and run in a 2005 STi, so I would think they will suit a V5 ok.

If they do fit You would also need an ecu capable of running them

I run an Alcatek so pretty sure that would run it but then I'm guessing I'd also need loom adapted. I could just run them without the avcs as my current heads have no avcs.

Can anyone confirm they would fit but also match up well? Are these any more advanced then my current version 5/6 sti heads? The eventual plan is to start on head work but would like to know if this is a better starting point then my current ones.

I have these heads on my v5R and not sorted vvt yet as had issues with sensor plug.
But running without vvt ATM and at 1.8 bar I feel no difference, still spools quick, but the main thing I can tell is that it pulls harder towards the redline and wants more but by that time it's time to change gear, so you can tell the gain from having big port does.
