Thanks
So should be a straight swap for v5/v6
And not a lot of work to just drop in other classics at a guess?
Not sure if it'd be much work for newer models either?

Earlier classics would need the heads swapped along with the inlet manifold
Newage cars it would drop into and make a good upgrade for a wrx

Would this be an open deck block?
If I wanted to put this into my v3 would I need to use my heads and inlet manifold?

Yes it would be an open deck block (unless changed), your heads and inlet manifold on and it will drop straight in

Hi sorry if this is a stupid question but is this a 2.0 or 2.1 you said
2.0 as you planned on staying with the standard box, and didn't want the torque of a 2.1 stroker.
But I thought a ej20 case, sti crank, rods and 92.5 pistons were the makings of a stroker

Ok i thought the 2.0L sti had a 79mm crank
So this should be ok to drop straight in to a 04 wrx without any problem?

if it has V3 heads on then no it wont fit a 04 straight off, you will need to swap the heads or do some jiggery pokery with your wiring and ecu etc.

I don't know, it thought it was v3 from the pics of the exterior. If it's v5 it will go on the wrx above no probs .

You may not need a full remap, however it would be worthwhile getting it plugged in and checked once the engine is fitted and running
