Hi guys. A mate of mine broke a Subaru a little while back and still has the engine from it. I need to get some pics of it and see if the engine build invoice is with all the other paper work. I will have to confirm but im 99.9% sure of the spec:
Engine will be sold as a long block but is only missing exhaust manifold and injector rails.
Engine has only done 600 miles since being built so is still in it's run in phase.
EJ20 Closed Deck Block bored .25mm over
New standard size crank
ACL big's and main's
Lateral / Wiesco cutom 2.0lt .25mm over forged pistons
Lateral Steel rod set
Metal head gasket ( cosworth ? )
ARP 11MM head stud kit
New oil pump ( std i think )
New warter pump
New timing belt kit
All new seals and gaskets throughout
new sump ( if not then in great condition )
and thats as much as i know other than the engine has std 98 UK heads on and the valves where recut.
The original cost of the engine build was £5800 ish
he wants £3000 for it and it is after all a brand new engine. I would change oil and filter and finish off running it in. Engine was built to be 500bhp + capable with a change of heads or 450bhp as is.
Regards
Alan

Sorry guys, iv not looked in on this post for a few days.
Engine was from a 98 UK WRX GC8. Engine has the 98 UK heads on but will still do 450bhp as is or you can put V3 - V4 heads on for 500+ motor is sold as a long block so you can bolt your intake manifold on and it will drop in any car that had an EJ 20 / 207 /205 engine in.
