as above came from a 1999 wagon have the receipt from subarufor you who mapped it at ove £700
i have spoken to them today and they have said the license is in the ecu ( i.e code) and when anymapper plugs into they can then remap alter it etc etc
( there was some confusion from some people over this but i have spoken direct to them today )
there is a but it need to go into a uk car as the ecu looks for a chip in the key ( something like that anyways ) or it will ned to go to a mapper and have the imobiser delete
again i have no clue about these ecu so made the call
so ecu £ 150 + delivery cost
