Hi do you know who mapped it, do you have any receipts. Where are you based please not sure i am brave enough to paypal that much. How did the car cope with the power did it break or melt anything? 1.2 / 1.3 bar seems quite a bit, i know i can get it remapped but i am curious. Thanks

I'm in Hastings. Fueling was checked and all OK. I'm Also know by a fair few southeast scoobies boys and girls. Will PM who mapped it but he isn't a novice.

Boost was pushing it a bit, and probably blowing hot air a little, but car was running fine with low knock count and no issues, and very responsive and quick. Makes for a great road car.

If you wanted less boost its been mapped with 2 boost settings to choose on the hand controller. 1 at 1.3 bar peak and another at 1.2bar.

I can also vouch for Rob plus 1.3 bar on a TD04 isn't really stressing things too far because it's quite a small turbo.

Thanks - And as said 1.3 bar on a the smaller TD04 is not the same as pushing 1.3bar on say a 20g. The volume of air will be greater on a larger turbo at the same boost.

I believe even the standard PPP on a UK classic's runs 1.2bar tailing off at the top.

Added advantage of the TD04 is very quick spool. Boost comes in very quickly, so you have STI performance with slightly less lag.

But equally this Apexi, is ready to bolt on and work to any late classic no matter what mods you have, but you will definately need a remap if your running bigger turbos, injectors, front mounts etc.

Yes it will - Direct fit.

Is it a UK or STI ?. Either way it will fit, but the map would definately need a remap if its an STI, which will be running a VF28 turbo, not a TD04 in the UK.

P1 is same as V5/6 STI so yes will fit. But if your running a 500bhp P1, apart from it being a total animal powerhouse , you must already have a decent ECU in there or at the very least an ECUTEK'd ECU

I can confirm this ECU is fully working as I mapped it for Rob (known him for 25 years).
It would need remapping if fitted to any other car, if not at least checking.

Boost is quite high for a TD04 but easy enough to reign that it a bit.
Boost does tail off at the top due to the TD04's inability to hold it.
Ran sweet considering the age/mileage of the car it was on.

it will fit any classic from 1999. UK or STi
UK will just require the loom modified to swap the cam and crank wires (10 min job)

Thanks scott. Certainly goes well, and cracking job as ever.

If the blob sells then this will be withdrawn for sale, and see the VF35,decat and some 550's getting bolted to the classic.
