A few people have asked what the internals are worth if I were to strip the engine, but i'm not sure
I've got a bill here for the parts when it was rebuilt but its a complete total.
Sti 9 nitride crank
Manley H Rods
Mahle 92.5mm oversize pistons
Uprated Oil pump
New modine oil cooler
head bolts
Acl race bearings - Total £1660
Then spent £500 on gaskets, seals and belts etc
Then he paid £1440 having the engine removed, a 0.5mm overbore, the rebuild and re-assembly at ReWorx.
Total over £3.5k
Thats why i'm reluctant to strip the engine as it may only need a set of heads and a small amount of work to be spot on, and is rated to well over 400bhp easily. I just dont have the time/money/knowledge to do it and i'm only asking £600 for the whole thing.
Looking around online the Crank new is £400+, Manley rods are £370 and pistons are around £450 so someone is going to get a bargain.
