right if all goes to plan i am removing my current exhaust system this weekend and replacing it with a much louder one,im off to scoobyworld 2moro to fetch a raptor backbox and im having the center section off neils car and im gonna be ordering a japspeed de-cat downpipe aswell so im just testing the water to see if i get any interest on my current set up
the 3" bore miltek de-cat downpipe (part number mssub133) was supplied and fitted by powerstation on 15/05/2009 (paperwork to prove),the center section again a miltek item, which has had the resonator removed previous to me buying it and was supplied by pole position along with the japspeed backbox
now then, the system isnt pretty due to it having the resonator chopped out and having some 3" pipe welded into its place BUT it does the job its intended for,it doesnt rattle/tap/leak or blow-i believe it was from a classic as i had to have the hangar turned around, also the backbox has a dent in the underside of the can but its underneath so its never bothered me
the miltek downpipe has a built in resonator (hence me removing it for a unresonated one) and is in really good condition
sound wise its sounds like an angry lion is the best way of describing it,its louder than a standard miltek system but not as loud as say a vortex or blitz-it has a lovely deep burble its just not loud enough for me
so all in all its a full 3" turbo back system consisting of a miltek de-cat downpipe connected to a miltek 3" center section with resonator removed connected to a japspeed angled exit backbox
i cant remember but i think either the backbox or the center section had to be altered slightly to make a perfect fit for my car due to it being from 2/3 different cars so bear this in mind if you want to use a different backbox that you might have to take it to a garage to have some fettling done, when its off the car i will get exact dimensions and a few more pics
im not really sure what its worth (the downpipe was £185+vat) so i will say £180 + postage + paypal fee's for the lot,i may split but i would prefer it to go whole
collection is from hinckley le10
heres a pic of it fitted to my blob
