forgive my ignorance mate. i just bought a SG5. whats special about these fogs compared to the standard ?

Guessing by the name they either come on with the high beam or can be switched on independently.
Fog lights spread the light more sideways and don't help with driving at night whereas these are to be used for driving , they are not fog lights.

these are driving lamps (main beam) not fogs. they are dam bright too!

Had them on mine - big improvement when on full beam
(Using Prodrives instructions they are switched on to be activated when high beam selected)
