How durable is it........ok like all painted surface if the prep is done currectly then good......once chemical stripped it's also keyed then you have etch primer then high build primer on top of that.....I use solvent base paints so when that dries it's only colour pigment left .....the coating once through the process and rinsed is only the ink pattern left on the paint, then it's sealed with a 2k clear coat which is good for 180c.......I done Dave coes time attack subaru at the start of the season and it's as good as the day he fitted it........I believe the max manifold temp is about 30c with possible engine bay heat around 80c so the stuff I use shouldn't be a problem.......hope this has answered a few questions, cheers for the pictures john the parts still looking good I hope mate

Parts are still looking good and well admired by everyone that sees it
Other bits and pieces are/ have been ordered for my underbonnet vision and the cam cover and manifold will be required possibly in the winter months to complete the package in time for the NBO 12

I have 3 V3/4 inlets here so yes I've a MY97........the classics don't dip in the carbon that well due to shape and pattern stretch down the sides......newage been smaller gets away with it.......just my honest opinion

Few ideas of the effects I can do on these manifolds for you....
Few different carbon effects there ie anthracite and a thunder grey ......also getting a new weave in the next wk or two.....which will have a black n gold look

Cheers mate but it's still work in progress.....I fancy a change on the pipes over the winter now but wot is there done is carbon dipped plastics...alt/fuse/solenoid and cam belt cover along with the inlet manifold.....also I stripped the headlights and dipped the inserts to match.....things to change....bonnet catch is going and fit a oil cooler in its place......intercooler pipes and inlet pipe different pattern .....all nuts and bolts changed.....aero bonnet catches......also a few plans for the rear of the car but I've done all sorts if stuff like carbon dipped brembos.....rear diffuser and moving onto the interior next
