2005 WRX Rear Shocks, where to buy?
Hey everyone,
both my rear shocks are knocking their **** off and I have had it confirmed by my mechanic they both need replacing.
I have just spent the last hour searching around the forum and all I seem to be getting is people recommending going for coil overs which isn't a route i want to go down as i dont want / need that style of set up, or some kind of mod adding extra grease to the shock.
As both rear shocks need replacing I'm going to put on some lowering springs at the same time, either Tein or Eibach but I'm struggling on where to find replacement rear shock?
I just spoke to my local Subaru dealer and they want £412 for the rear right and £433 for the rear left
Can anyone point me in the right direction of where I can buy just rear shocks that will match the stock front?
Thanks
Tony

I replaced both my rear struts on my 56 hawk wrx, replaced them with KYB ultra sr's from Camskill for a reasonable price. They are slightly uprated, the plan was to match the fronts but I've now sold the car on.
Get in touch with them if they aren't listed on the site, they need chassis details to confirm fitment. but it was the best way to go for me without resorting to coils or modding existing struts..
cant find the ultra sr's that I fitted, but have standard KYB exel g shocks here, 174.95 for the rear pair!

I have have a full set of KYB Ultra SR's on my blobeye WRX with pro drive sti springs. They have been on there for around 5 years with no issues at all. This set up is very slightly firmer than standard but still nice enough for every day use. If I have problems I will use the same ones again.
