Have a strole through this thread, some great stuff here

Alignment can be a personal preference depending just how you want your car to rotate/turn.

OE specs are crap and tolerances too wide, so understanding how toe, castor and camber effects your cars behaviour helps dial in a set-up you're completely happy with

Of course, we're happy to discuss

Why would you got to either of the above when it's Curtis @ AST, who operates from different premises that is the AST specialist?

Yes was going to send the shocks to ast for the rebuild but wanted the settings so i didnt have to trail the car miles away for a set up, there is a place very local that can sort this for me
Thanks for the info Mac

To be honest I'd drive in/drive out. Sending them away is a bit of a lottery concerning timescales. It's something I'm considering myself albeit it is 350+ mile round trip!

I know what you mean. Do you have a alignment printout of what the car was?

Thing is, there isn't a 'Type 25' setting, just as the allusive 'Prodrive settings' don't really exist.

THe Impreza 'works' well on certain alignment settings. Here's a starting point which you wont go far wrong with
