Default strut tops

Yo, quick noob question, do i need to remove rear seats in my bugeye wrx 2003 to get to the rear strut top bolt? going to try tighten it as i have the annoying clunk :P

I think so, as long as it's the same as the classics. Isn't the clunk due to the internal wear on the shock tube where it runs out of useable grease?

Well i tried jacking the car up and spraying the silver bit with white lithium but no luck when i bounce the rear of the car i can hear it clunking from rear driver side.

Are yours the large diameter inverted type? You would need to get the grease inside the shock body between the 2 bearings. Mine now have a grease nipple fitted for when they run dry.

I have no idea, guessing just stock wrx ones. Is there a better way than just spraying the silver bit but not removing them off the car
