05-07 impreza coilovers onto a classic?

Good evening,
Can anyone advise if it is possible to fit 05-07 suspension onto a classic? If it is possible is there anything special I need to do or use?

they wont fit as the pre 05 cars are 100 pcd and the post 05 sti is 114 pcd and widetrack so the shocks arent long enough unless he is going to stretch them so the bolts line up.
