Default whiteline bushes with cuts?

just bought some whiteline rear anti roll bar bushes to replace the tired ones on my whiteline 22m rear bar. was looking at the packaging and squeezed one of the bushes to see how firm they felt and discovered this:

now ive seen standard bushes come with cuts but along the flat side. do whiteline ones come cut at that position? the cuts look exactly the same and at same place and even same cut line but i would have thought where they are cut would compromise the rigidity of the bush? if i pinch one its shape deforms as the side part moves past the cut. any thoughts?

cheers bud, i know some come with cuts so you can leave the bar and drop links on and just push them over the bar but the position of the cuts seems stupid to me. thanks anyway will be fitting at weekend.

Easy to fit as the ARB clamps hold it all together ;(

It's a newer design, The cut was originally on the flat edge but under extreme loads the bar puts presure on the flat base and it can cause it to flex open reducing the bushes stiffness.
