Getting eibachs on my bugeye WRX next week. Should I get drop links while I'm there? Presumably the Eibachs alone will cancel out any negativity from the standard links and the setup may be too stiff with links AND Eibachs, particularly on rough B roads?

I too am getting Eibachs fitted to my bugeye next week.
I thought about getting the drop links done at the same time but, like oyu, reckoned it's be a bit severe (I have a 2yr old daughter, don't wanna rattle her brains out)
I am, however, having the swaybar links done and an anti-lift kit fitted (and Goodridge brake lines while i'm at it as the brakes need bled to fit the springs).

If you do go ahead with the drop-links, let me know how you get on.

Arn't the drop-links vertical and sway-bar links horizontal? There are a whole loada bushes in there if you look at the diagrams
I got the Whiteline swaybar links to make the cars break-off point more predicatable.

I had the droplinks and adj sway fitted at Powerstation last week to my UK300, by the way the drop links come with poly bushes. Now I already had Eibachs (Prodrive supplied) so the car was already that much stiffer than std. I didn't want a bone shaking ride so was a bit nervous at first. Still I went ahead with the new parts which didn't take long to fit. Driving home the car was fine using A roads then road closed due to accident, diversion round some narrow country lanes. Good chance to try out the new setup. The car is more stable at the rear with less roll and seams to change direction quicker and more stable. It does feel firmer at the rear but not to the extent that it would rattle your fillings out. I'm sure a child could still sleep in the back seat. I hope these findings help. No regrets..

I too had Drop links done, although I already had Eibachs .. Didn't notice any real different in the ride.. but the car handles so much better and cornering is wicked..

Get them both done.. and also get the Bump steering mod done whilst your there..

Yep mate. The issue has always been "prodrive eibachs" or "eibach pro-kit". Do a lot of inner London roads so comfort I dont really want to sacrifice.

From what i've seen, heard and read - the "eibach pro-kit" seem the way to go (with the progressive rate springs).

Just a bit miffed that its either Notts. or Chelt. for the fitting and decent set up. Quite a trek from London (A20 Crittals Corner area). If someone did it London'ish I'm sure they'll make a mint.

My car is a Litchfield Import (Belgium MY02) and originally had the alignment set up from new in Cheltenham @ Powerstation? - the initial feeling of running on rails comes to mind. (Shame you get soo used to it that dont appreciate it any more).
