What impreza parts can be used to improve the handling and ride height on my 97 forester s/tb?
ie strut braces, anti roll bars and links, struts?
also the seats are insiped, what seats if any can be used?
thanks
Ira

Ira,
The STB (assuming old shape) already has a big front ARB but you can change the rear 12mm one for a JDM Impreza one (20mm) for about £30 from a breakers. You'll also need the bigger
Suspension wise your knackered unless you spend some dosh.
No one sells a lowering kit for the Forester in the UK but you can ask Leda to do a one off for £1200.
The classic impreza struts and springs will fit and lower the STB by 3" but it may cause rubbing problams and be rock hard.
Subaru STi do a kit for something like £1500 and will rival the Leda.
There are some kits in America but I haven't looked too hard.
OEM struts are easy to get hold of from KYB but springs are impossible in the UK. The struts will last about 45,000 miles.
Impreza strut braces will be direct fit.
ARB links are also Impreza items so you could fit STi versions.
STi lower alloy wishbones won't fit as the Forester track is wider.
I amalso looking at swapping Impreza seat into mine but the runners need careful looking at. I'll have to do a trial run to see if the Forester runners can stay in place.
