I need to replace my shocks, car is MY 99. As I don't want to lower the car I see no need for coilovers. Actually my intention was to buy Bilstein shocks, but today only the PSS9 coilover is available.
Any proposals for shocks ?

I've seen the 'Koni' ones advertised somewhere: I have a feeling that these are the standard ones that Subaru, but does anyone know? If they aren't these ones, are they any good? Are there any alternatives?

I've just found some info on the Koni's here which may be helpful! Looks like original kit needs to be hacked about, so that's those out.
