Hi, I've just purchased my P1 from s+s and am smitten with it, but I was thinking about lowering it. Checked several ads but all seem to list by the year, so will springs made for a U.K turbo fit a P1?

Or does the P1 have it's own fitment ?

They would fit but I don't think they would lower it and they would be a backwards step IMHO! The OE springs on the P1 are matched to the dampers and are supposed to work very well.

If you are just going to replace the springs, the only one I would change them for are the "Grey" Pro Kit Eibach springs but I don't know if they would be better than what you have or not and they would only lower it about 25mm if at all. I'd stick with what you've got IMHO!

Failing that, you may be better off replacing the dampers as well as the springs but unless you do a lot of track work, I personally wouldn't bother.

Other good handling mods I would recommend are:

1. Bump Steer Mod
2. Anti-Lift Kit
3. Proper 4 wheel alignment/geometry setup
5. Solid rear drop links and uprated ARB bushes

and perhaps an uprated rear ARB.

Just a though....

Matt
