STI 8 mods

What can I do do to get rid of the understeer on my 8. Medium speed corners are the worst. Unless you go in hard on the gas, the car tends to understeer slightly. Neutral would be nice, with the front tightening up as the power comes in. Any ideas?

Part of what you are describing is caused by the action of the SureTrak front diff. When you are not hard on the power the diff is effectively open, and the front wheels will have more tendancy to run wide. Going onto the power will cause the diff to tend to stiffen (or even lock), and the power through the front wheels will pull the car into line.
In theory you could fit stiffer springs or anti-rollbar to the rear to reduce the understeer, but care is required. You will increase the likelyhood of rear end breakaway, and may find the car is less benign. It come down to the skill of the drivers and their personal preferences as to what is best.
