Question

Is it recommended to replace the STI's stock springs with a set of Eibachs, without replacing the shocks?
Anyone had any experience with Eibachs?
Thank you.

Not highly recommended on the STi as they were designed for the lighter older car.

Prodrive spec'd Eibachs have been coming for about a year now and there is quite a long list of people waiting for them.....(see http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadid=155603)

I ran my Sti7 for 6 months on the Eibachs ( up until i sold it ), rather than believe the talk on here i ACTUALLY tried it, and never had a problem.

That's fair enough but I've got two friends who have and both don't rate them, and I trust both of their opinions so I'm waiting.....

Question

Rich,

Waddaya think to 'em on the local roads - are they harsh at slower (commuting in traffic) speeds over the potholes etc?

I had a ride in the TSL special but that was at "high speed" on better roads they seemed OK there but I did notice a solid thump as we went over some the slower stuff

Cool

Apple
They do tend to thump over cats eyes espcially when 4 up in the car but with two people in there does not seem to be any loss of ride quality - apart from trying to take speed bumps at anything over 40 !
I might be over in South Yorks Sunday if you want to meet up somewhere and you can have a go yourself.
Drop me a mail
