Jon,
There is either a grub screw or two collar rings (can't remember which) to lock the lower spring platform. Loosen this off and adjust away. Trouble is you need to do a complete geometry reset afterwards. I use Dave at Risboro 4 Wheel Drive for my suspension setup (not a million miles away from you at Princes Risborough, bucks). Give him a ring on 01844 274652.

Thanks for your reply, Only one thing tho` When I adjust the lower collar nuts all this does is stiffens or loosens the spring it has no effect on height.
There is however a collar right at the top of the strut, I tried to loosen this and turn the collar but it seemed to just keep turning and do nothing else.
Sorry to complicate things but I am still at a loss.
Does this ghange your answer? I hope so
Cheers mate.

there's 2 collar rings, probably anodised blue, locked against each other at the bottom of the coilover. jack the car up, take the wheel off then rotate the rings right (i think!?) to raise them which will compress the spring more. when you have them where you want them tighten them up against each other again.
i do it all the time on mine, it's a really easy job.

Jon,
As Midnight Racer says, moving the collars on the shock body adjusts the ride height so what you are doing is right! You do realise though that moving the ride height changes the geometry?

Many thanks for all your help.
It turned out I was nearly there, just had to move the whole spring and collar not just collar.
All raised up new tyres and geometry set.
Much much better, I dont hit the roof now going over bumps!!
Thanks again.

Hi there
Ive just bought a scooby with the same Cusco coilovers fitted and the car is quite low and very stiff suspension.
I intend to get new tyres this week then look at gettign the car geometry set up, somewhere int he midlands would be nice!!!
Also what settings do you have your car set at regarding the damping, numbers 1 to 5 i think on mine, is 1 hard and 5 soft?
Cheers
