Question

Hi all,
I posted this issue i have on "New Prodrive Springs finally out for STi ". Anyway, still hope to get help: Did any of you guys need to replace the suspensions eccentric bolts in order to achieve 1.25' neg. camber?

I'm setting the geometry according to the ProDrive spec. and the guy at the workshop says he has to replace bolts with longer ones.

any help/experience will be appreciated...
ProDrive ???

thanks

I didn't get the bolts replaced - but I'll have to check my geo print out to confirm what neg camber was put on.

Unhappy

I think the bolts will only JUST manage to get -1.25 deg. Mine finished up just short of that figure and my sons has been set (today) at -56min, 20min short of Prodrives recommended!
Pull the bottom of the disc to take up any play in the bottom bolt to help? And for Gods sake pump the brake pedal before you drive it as you will have probably pushed the pads back while doing it!!

Well,
geometry was done(Prodrive recomended setting), and manage to set it without replacing the standard bolts.
This setup - 1.25 degrees neg. camber is the max neg. camber the standard bolts can achieve.
Before and after pics will be posted.

Thanks for the help.
