suspension newbie : spring rates
#1
Hi all,
I'm considering buying a H&R coilover kit for my MY01. (height adjustable only, front 20-60mm and rear 30-70mm)
I know spring rates are a very important part, but I'm a newbie at this.
Info I have found :
Front : main spring : 150-80
Front : helper spring : 80-60-20
Rear : main spring : 165-50
Rear : helper spring : 80-60-20
I don't even know if they mean Kgs, Nm, Lbs (info is of the German site)
1. is this 'hard' ?
2. is the spring rate of the helper spring important for ride quality ?
Thx
