Can I do anything to prevent my MY98 turbo understeering round wet islands?

I find that a bit more pressure on the loud pedal helps but it still feels on edge at the front.

I run 32psi at the front and 34psi at the back. Any comments / suggestions that differ?

Advice greatly appreciated.

Options I have been looking at in order of cost:
- Geometry re-set (to more agressive settings like over -1.5 degrees negative on the front).
Different tyres
Stiffer rear anti roll bar
Lowered and stiffened springs
Quaife LSD

Get the bumpsteer removed by Powerstation, best mod you can do.

Try 34psi at the FRONT and 32 at the BACK! Higher pressure = more grip, lower pressure = less.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Will try most of the above. By the way, it understeers even when not driving quickly (well not that quickly).

Anyone got a link to powerstation?

Accelerate hard onto the island as she starts to understeer back off totally dab the brake with left foot (shifts all weight to front wheels - back end loses grip ) then nail it and prepare for full opposite lock.

This is what makes scoobs fun

Wink

Just practice this a few times when there's nobody around - saves embarassment.

tire pressure = weight on tyre/area of contact patch

surely if you increase the pressure without increasing the weight of the car you decrease the area of the contact patch and hence decrease grip?
