Question Coil Over Conversion Kit

anyone tried them?
Are they any good?

Two years ago read an article in a USA car mag about these kits fitted to a Neon of all things. I think if you can get the spring rate to match the damping rate you will have a nice set-up.
They did and the car tested before and after realy well, but the starting piont was on the low performance side!
they then did the same kit on some simple KONI struts, cut the OEM spring cups off them, slid the threadded sleeves over and retested, and then the difference really WAS good!!

I had one and it was awful. It had loads of adjustment but mainly to take the car up not down and the car bounced around for ages if you hit a bump. Yours look better than the ones i had but i'd still avoid them m8

nah mate it ok I just wanted to know if anyone had tried them and as I thought they are as sh1te as the price indicates
