Default help needed!

i have a 95 uk 4 door turbo and currently have coilovers on it. i'm changing back to a spring/damper set-up and got some top mounts from a breakers. the front ones fit fine but the bolts on the rear are too wide apart!

currently on the coilovers there is 88mm between the inner 2 bolts and 96mm between those and the outer bolt. on the standard top mounts it is 92mm and 100mm respectively?! the breakers (who have been very helpful) have checked and they believe i have the right top mounts.

i was under the impression, and have also been told since, that all gc8 impreza suspension is the same, can anyone shed some light on this?

yep tried it in every possible combination. a mate came round in his wagon and we compared them and my top mounts are bigger than the ones in the wagon.
