Height of original uk car

Height of original uk car
My car has been lowered (previous owner) and I would like to know by how much.
Could someone either tell me what the height (from the ground) of the front and rear wheel arches should be or better still someone with a MY95 car can measure it for me. I would be really greatful.
Maybe this isnt the correct way the height is measured! What is?
I realise that the suspension will probably have easied a little so it wont be exact, thats not that important.
