Question how much would you pay for a stainless steel strut brace?

how much would you be prepared to pay for a Stainless steel strut brace and is a brand important ot you?

been thinking about getting one, but the question above is on my mind.

weight is an issue with stainless steel, but this may or may not bother you.

what other material would you suggest? and what is the limit for a ss brace in your view price wise?

Carbon sti strut brace,second hand about £120 to £150,for a classic.

Dont know about bug/blobeye though......

There's also some nice Titanium braces for the newage cars that go for £225.
Then again, there's cheap alloy ones on Ebay that go for £25 a shot.
All depends on what they look like under the bonnet and perhaps their usefulness (or not?)

i was thinkging that ss would be more durable than aluminum and more rigid.

i think that under 100 quid is a sensible amount to pay for a brace. this rules out carbon and lightweight alloys.

hi matey,

got front and rear sti style braces(pink fixing brackets and chromed/ss bar)from scoobyworld,about £70 each with sidc discount and postage.



check out their website it has pice etc
