Anyone with KYB AGX in Cambridge area?
Hiya,
Am pondering suspension options for my standard MY95 WRX and interested in KYB AGX dampers possibly with Eibach springs. Does anyone have this or similar setup anywhere near Cambridge who might be along for one of the meets sometime? Am interested in how they feel on a B-road at medium or low settings; although the standard WRX is on the soft side I'm surprised at how well it handles so long as you're smooth. Having gone the coilover route on a couple of VWs I'm wary of losing the compliance and creating a smooth-A-road/track specialist.
Other mods I'm planning are 24mm read adj bar, droplinks, bumpsteer mod, ALK and 17" Rotas.
cheers
Andy

There has been two group buys for these, have a look where people are from.
I have the KYB AGX's, Eibach's and a whiteline ALK on mine, and the whiteline non-adjustable front and rear sway bars and droplinks for that matter.
I'm in Stafford though so it's a bit far and am going to a meet this weekend in shropshire.
Might be an idea also having a look at www.scoobycity.co.uk, as they are all from Norwich which may be nearer to you.

Thanks Dave.
How would you say the ride on a b-road compares to that of the std WRX (...presuming that was your starting point?).
On swaybars I meant to type 22m rear adj (not 24mm), and am keeping the std front 19mm one for the moment.

I have a UK spec MY00 turbo wagon. At present I have not pushed the car as the alignment is all over the place (I fitted the KYB AGX's and ALK this weekend) it is booked in at Powerstation this Thursday.
At present I would say that the suspension is definatelty harder even on the medium settings (2 front, 4 rear) I am noticing more rattles than were there before! This could be something to do with the neoprene bushes in the ALK though also.
Sorry I cannot really comment at present, going for a bit of a run this weekend, I'll let you know how I get on.
