Suspension Q
been to look at a scooby today and the front left tyre has sheared (smoothed) over half of the grip. other side is fine
now i understand this could simply be the alignment, however what sort of worst case scenario is there ? if he spanked the kerb or something would this have damaged the suspension ?
the previous owner hasnt changed tyres any more than normal, and it drives ok, just not a straight steering wheel when going in a line.
any advice please chaps ??

a buckled rim would show as a worn "patch" on the tyre but a bent wishbone/track rod/ strut would show the same sort of even wear on one side of the tyre as the scoob you have looked at.
Get under it, check everything is straight and go from there.
