Drop links
Hey,
I am trying to get some rear drop links. I beleive the cheapest place is a guy called cusco kid on SIDC. Unfortunately I can't log in on there. Is he on here 2?
I have standard suspension and am not going to make other changes. Do I need just rear or a full set?

Not sure about the guy you mention, but although the rear links make a difference, it is very small. For the time and money involved you may as well make a substantial difference for the better and also fit the Whiteline 22mm adjustable rear ARB. This will sharpen turn-in and reduce understeer significantly. The adjustability allows you to tune it to your driving style, but I found the stiffest setting by far the best myself. This is easily the best pound for effect mod you can do on a Scoob, and allied with a geometry set-up by someone whom knows what they're doing (not just following manufacturer settings) can make a car much better in the bends.
Steel links can be got from about £45, with alloy from £70. The ARB is iro £120. Scooby Clinic | The UK's Largest Independent Subaru Specialists are worth a look for these items, in Tuning/Handling.
I wouldn't bother changing the front links unless break one at some point, or you go a bit further and modify the springs and/or damping to get more stiffness. Then again I'd do them in conjunction with a stronger ARB, but the front is more difficult to fit.
PS. www.demon-tweeks.co.uk offer a 15% discount to SNet members and are competitive on Whiteline products.

fwiw: I totally agree with Corradoboy above.
Change the rear bar to 22mm and even keep the plastic links, you will feel a big change. I have the whiteline steel rear links now for 4 years, road and competition life for them, and they are perfect if a little lacking in 'bling' value!
