can any one help me with a strut brace problem.


I have a rear strut brace for a 2004 car but cant see were it goes on

any one got a pic or help

You have to take the rear seat out and you will then see the strut tops - two bolts for the bottom seat and three or four for the back.You will see three nuts then where the strut brace goes below the seat belt mounting.

What type of strut brace is this? Is it one that goes across the strut tops like in an S204 or is it one that goes across the boot floor like in a Spec C?

id assume its a strut on as it has the rings at the side

Take a look at this pic of the strut brace in an S204. This is connected across the strut tops, although you cannot see this, it gives you an indication of where they are.
