Default Cusco Rear ARB

Hi... i was thinking of getting a cusco ARB but looking at whitelines site they say their 22m rear arbs increase stiffness by around 80%.... assuming my oem arb is 19mm.

cusco states these figures for their rear arbs (GC8):
18/19 mm type which is adjustable 146% 173 % and 206%

19/21 mm type which is adjustable 206 % 240 % and 286%

im a bit confused... i thought the thicker the bar the stiffer the percentage increase.... would 206% be toooo stiff?

anyone know the standard rear arb size for a V5 Type-R?

ahhh.... thanks if anyone can help

The stiffness goes up by the 4th order on straight torsion springs, so double the diameter is 8 times the stiffness (iirc).

IMHO stick to Whiteline stuff as everyone knows how to deal with them. My front end is here, and the rear is similarly covered in Whiteline parts.

Graham.
