Adjusting shocks to kill understeer
Hi guys,
I've got a GC8C WRX RA with adjustable Apex'i shocks. I'm looking for the cheapest way to reduce the infamours WRX understeer. Where I live (Uganda), I can't get a sway bar without paying for DHL shipping and taxes which will make it almost double the cost.
My shocks are all set to the softest setting right now. I'd like to adjust the rear shocks to the medium or even hard setting and reduce my rear tire pressure by 2 psi to 33 psi.
Has anyone ever tried eliminating the oversteer simply by changing shock absorber settings? What were your results like?
Cheers,
Paul

It will not work in my experience.
You need to increase the caster in the front and the Whiteline ALK goes some way to that, but real adjustable top mounts will be the only answer.
Noltec's are great, but i think you cannot fit to stock suspension units due to ride height probs.
33 psi in the rear sounds high to me.
