Default Suspension specific website

In my hunt for a suspension guy in Watford as I currently don't have time to travel to the guys we all know I found this site run by a guy in Watford.

Tony is well known in other circles and sets up various track cars.

He did my 97 UK car with settings I got from Job at Whiteline UK (thanks to 911 for the contact)

Superb job, despite my car never having being touched from new, 0 degree thrust angle and just 2 minutes cross camber at front, rest was spot on.

He allowed me into the workshop and he explained what he was doing and talked about different set ups for different applications and the theory etc... It's a joy when you find someone who really takes pride.

He's not a Subaru specialist, but he is a suspension specialist. He put the settings in exactly as I had been advised no questions, but if you want an individual setting he'll explain why certain things do what they do.

I can highly recommend his services, best way to contact is through the website as he's moving job and setting up on his own.

Thank you for the kind words.... Your car was a particular beast since it was totally virgin and everything was seized other than the correctors fitted by Phoenix. So quite a challenge.

Nevertheless the car was compliant (in the end) allowing us to complete the calibration.

Question is..... With the Whiteline positions installed "how goes the drive".

Just for the forum as contacted Tony directly.

The car now drives very well. When I had a new turbo and remap done, the 1st time I booted it my brain didn't work fast enough as it was another step in performance. The suspension set up is a similar thing.

The car is now even more capable than me, but more than that I'm not yet used to the speeds i can corner at, so while I'm still thinking about driving round the corner, the car has got on with job and done it already - quite a feeling.

I certainly appreciate Tony's comments about taking it easy for a while.

Over bumpy roads I don't need to put nearly as much effort it. Turn it is improved again although not as much as the front ARB (I really like that).

Car is very well balenced when cornering hard, I think I'd try the next stiffer setting on rear ARB on a track, but for road use and potential rain etc I'm happy as it is.

Motorway miles are now even more boring as there is no tendancy to wonder and it almost feels like you don't have to turn the wheel as much to move the car.

Finally one thing I've noticed after a few miles now, is that the tire noise from straight ahead to cornering slightly used to get much louder, now it's not such a noticable change.

Basically the car is simply better in all conditions, there are no downsides.
