SPRING ADVICE PLEASE!
hi,
changing springs on my 06 wrx wagon. got it down to 2 choices i think.....
either prodrives from dealer (which of course are the eibachs), or
tein s. favouring the teins as they drop the front 35 and rear 25 and my front is def higher than rear at moment(looks like you are carrying a boot full all the time)!
my only concern is the firmness, have heard the prodrives actually improve the ride and teins are very firm perhaps too firm?
can anyone give me any guideance?
many thanks all.
cheers.

yes me too, have these improved the handling and the ride and are you happy with the drop on height?
is the front higher than the back? and did you get this done at the dealer?
many thanks.

I've also got a front splitter and find the height spot on,not too low but enough.
Had it done at a dealer but in hindsight would have bought the springs from them and went to a specialist to have them fitted.
Hope this helps.

I have fitted some whitelines which I had in my shortlist along with your choices.
Haven't put loads of miles on them, but the first impressions are good, fitted with KYB AGX shocks.

I went for the Tein S Tech because I thought the Prodrive springs appeared to make little difference in appearance.
The ride quality feels the same (as standard) to me, but then again I thought it was fine before.
With a front splitter it catches very occasionally but I can live with it.

thanks all.
some good comments.......leaning toward whitelines now as Zak at Mocom racing recommends them and they are way cheaper than prodrives and give similar if not the same results.
He can also obviously fit them and do the alignment so i think its a no brainer.
he did an awesome job of my remap and i plan to do future mods with him.
cheers again.
