Default Best Rollbar Combination For WR1, please help !

Hi,
As my car needs a 4-wheel alignment I have decided that now would be the best time to uprate the anti roll bars and fit an anti lift kit.
I have decided to fit either Whiteline or Perrin gear but other than that I am pretty clueless
I have contacted a few places but have had many different answers, for example some people say just do the rear bar , others say do the front and rear , some say replace the droplinks , others say dont bother with the droplinks . Then comes the problem of sizes, some say 22mm all round some say 22mm front and 24mm rear while over on the nasioc American forum they recommend 26mm front and 22mm rear ???

PLEASE HELP I am confused
The car is a 2004 STI WR1 which comes fitted with Prodrive springs as standard and it is mainly used for blasting down country lanes and might possibly do one or two trackdays, I would ideally like to eliminate the understeer and possibly oversteer a little if provoked

Thanks for any help.
Dan

hi m8 for the wr1 you need 24mm rear and 22mm front bar dont put the bigger bar on the front by increasing the front bar to 22mm you will increase the roll stiffness by depending what size is fitted if its 19 mm rs goes up by 80% on the rear if 19mm to 24mm it goes up by 155% you always fit the bigger bar on the rear and adjustable type if your going to do track days later also the stiffer you make the front springs the more tendency to understeer the anti lift kit will cure that problem by increasing caster by 0.5 deg oroblem solved if you want caster /camber adjustment you can fit whiteline top mounts comfort or motorsport type uniball fixings you can use the subaru drpo links but i have had them break when under extream loads the whiteline d/links are heavy duty on my 07 sti i am running 27mm rear and 24mm fromt with no problems also my new track the same but you have to drive it with aggression to get the best from it . i would also fit poly steering rack bushes and the rear x member poly bushes also if you want any further info pm me geo ygpm m8

Thanks very much for the detailed explanation Geo
I was very tempted to go for the Perrin stuff as it seems really well made but so many people seem to be using Whiteline it must be pretty excellent stuff.
At the moment I think I will be going for Whiteline as it is a little cheaper.
My shopping list now consists of a 22m front adjustable anti roll bar , 24mm rear adjustable anti roll bar, front and rear alloy droplinks and an anti lift kit. Think I will see how I get on with that little lot before changing any other bits and bobs as I dont want to make the car too hardcore yet
Do Whiteline do something similar to the Perrin Stout Mounts and if so is it worth fitting them ?
Also can anyone recommend a place not to far from Cheshire for a proper 4 wheel alignment ? I have had an excellent quote for fitting and alignment from Demon Tweeks but dont know how much experience they have with Subaru's ?
