Default Drop links

Whats the diffderence in whitelines 'wire' drop links and their alloy ones (apart from price).

are these a neccessity when fitting ARBs

IMHO the wire ones are great, can look a bit bad after a few seasons under the car, but function really well. alloys look smarter and work too.

The stock plasic ones flex as the material is less rigid than steel obviously, but adding the links simply ensures the connection to the bar from the suspension is stiffer using steel.

The stiffer roll bar will tend to load the links more causing them to bend more.

You do not HAVE too change them, but most will agree the steels are better overall.

cheers, think it'll be the wire ones for me then as i cannot see the justification in the difference in price
