Headers, exhaust, cold air induction,FMIC,uprated fuel pump/oil pump, bigger injectors, bigger turbo and then a remap. all depending on what crank, pistons and other internals you have. API, jolly green monster and AWD motorsport are all worth a try. Good luck. Chris.

thanks for the answer but you were obviously too distracted by the thought of a sexy girl to read the question what i actually want to know is how it would compare to my current 321bhp with reguards to drivability but i suppose 235 hits in an obscure section isnt bad going its only been on 6 hours and its the hottest topic my faith in man kind has not been dented

no its a short ratio 5 speed but i was speaking to some one today that runs 540bhp on the same box and has done for quite a while.. dont want to change it though as the car is for hill climbs eventually..

Tell you tomorrow night - getting P1 mapped by BRD tomorrow and expectation is in the region of 440 bhp/400ftlbs. From previous runs with this engine in another P1 it feels great for the road. Better power to weight ratio than new 911 turbo so pretty sufficient, I suspect. More would be fun and good for pub bragging, etc, but would be beginning to compromise driveability on road, I suspect, and would be getting more laggy, etc.

man woman makes no difference to me. if there is an entrance i'll use it. thought it strange though a lass having a car with the spec of yours. although there must be a few girls with high horsey cars, however i don't think many are into hillclimbs. the low ratio boxes are the best though my wagon had one, great acceleration. Chris.

Very minor difference to spool up compared to OEM P1/ StiV, but major major difference thereafter. All totally handleable/ very driveable, although to be fair today was dry. Bob mapped it for driveability as well as performance so made it all so smooth as well as devastating - i can pootle at 25mph ( my wife took it to the shops this afternoon) as easily as I can engage warp drive.
Couldn't really find anyone willing to have a real run for comparison sakes, apart from the Carrerra 4 who first pulled over into the empty middle lane after hogging the outside lane of the Motorway and then floored it only to get a very nasty shock
I have retrofitted a ddcd and quick rack to my P1 so it's basically a type R now so pretty comparable to your car. Two greens or early orange would probably be advisable in wet or greasy conditions with regard to the dccd.
Go for it would be my recommendation

Well, actually yes we did (maybe), it was Kirkby actually.
Premise is VERY nice only circa 18 months old.
Pop in Monday morning, we'll sort out that little job you have and tell you more then.
Mike.

Interesting thread kinda...
Anyway, I'm running 482/493 at present but more list of mods including comp exhaust sytem, bosch comp pump, etc, etc. Hope to hit 500 bhp and pass 500 on torque.
It partly depends on your whole car setup, eg, suspension, arbs, brakes, as a package as to what is best, I think 450 bhp is a max for road cars but we always want more! I do! I love my R180 rear diff and thick arb (I did say arb ) the whole package with about a million other mods on my motor adds up to a whole bundle of fun . The only down side is 5 out of 6 people that have been in it since she was 450 said "wow, that's enough, slow down please!!) - the mad m8 is a biker! Nuff said.
