what to get for my classic version 6 sti?
what to get for my classic version 6 sti?
i have got the power to where im happy with it, and the brakes sorted, now the suspension.
i am running standard set up at the mo.
i have noticed on 1/4 mile runs i done today, i am getting all 4 wheels spinning on the line, and the front of the car feels like it wants to take off!!
I use the car around 2-3 times a week, going to the shops and back, and the odd 1/4 mile here and there.
what would the best price set up i can get for my needs?
i like the nice ride i get with the standard set up, and if it was a little lower, it would look better i think.
1 problem i can think of, is that i ger a squeeking every now and then from the front drivers wheel area when going over bumps.
lots of different questions here, and forgot to say, i dont mind going second hand
thanks

I think the way the car launches (ie front lift) is quite normal when being pushed to the limit of traction.
For drag racing then I suggest you contact the fastest Impreza driver in the UK, the fabled Andy Forrest for advice and parts choice.

To the list above I would add a good alignment, and get your 'package' from them.
Here is my Impreza on a hillclimb start, full bore. This is much like a 1/4 mile start. The car is very very modified in the suspension for bends, but traction is enhanced by good tyres obviously and careful position of the dccd control.

The car has the Whiteline parts and a lot more inc the ALK.
