I live on the Isle of wight and the roads are ****, anyone whos visited will know.

How ever im looking to improve the handling of my car a lot, with out taking too much comfort away.

A mate suggested this kit:

SUBARU IMPREZA FULL TEIN SUPER STREET SUSPENSION KIT on eBay, also Suspension Components, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 05-Nov-08 13:05:47 GMT)

can anyone offer thoughts or suggestions or alternatives?

By the way i know **** all about this kinda thing.

Thanks guys!

I'd say that will be hard as anything. What about some adjustable shocks with some lowering springs? I don't know to much, but if you want to keep some comfort.

I would love thr AST setup from powerstation but thats about a grand more lol

Sorry mate don't know much about this sort of thing but I could be interested in this sort if thing as I don't trust the Subaru shocks I do know that Tein are a good make and are well recognized. This kit sounds perfect to me you can adjust the ride height and the hardness of the shocks
I have read in other links that if you do go for this sort of kit you will have to have the geometry of the car set up !!!

Yeah thats right, i have a mate who has claimed to be able to do it all for me

Time will tell i guess. It also appeals to me the fact its highly adjustable as i intend to keep playing till its right, as you say they are good so its worth a go i think?

if you look in group buys in BC/Apex coilovers group buy you see in the first page they've been compared against the tein flex and they come out good.

I've just fitted these and got to say there spot on, height adjustable and damper adjustable too and almost £250 cheaper than the super st! take a look.

they were £486 but due to exchange rates they've gone up to £549, but well worth it imho.
