Question 03 WRX - Looking for different suspension ideas

My 03 WRX currently 'sits' on the original shockers (79k miles), with Eibach springs, ALK, OEM arb's, API Geo (seems severe, for rear especially).
I need the ride height lifting a bit as i have a lot of speed humps on my routes where my family live. Their estates are full of em basically.
I am also after a better ride quality than i feel i get currently.
It feels crashy to me, and sometimes i would go as far to say it skips on some circumstances. Now maybe the shockers are just tired and need replacing, i dunno.
As compared to above and thinking about being tight with money (for once), wouldn't i get a good enough result just swapping back to OEM springs, and uprating the arb's? The OEM springs would lift the ride height back up, and the firmer arb's would surely make cornering better? (Less body roll, etc).
Or am i just talking amateurish boll**ks? lol.
Your input would help, thanks folks.

Not bollox at all. 22mm ARB, solid drop links and anti-lift kit will give you better handling than before. You might decide to go to 18" wheels though as the arches will look a bit empty. The shocks may be knackered of course which is why they crash a bit.

A cheapish set of coilovers might the other way to go so you can set the ride height exactly.

I forgot to mention i have the solid drop links as well, LOL.
I may try the standard springs then with a 22mm arb and RCM allignment.
The oem ride height does look a bit high, but i need it nowadays.
Besides, i am getting nearer to 40 and need the comfort! Hahahaha.
