Top mounts
What's the deal with top mounts?
I have seen uprated aluminium one's made by various suspension makers but why are they better than standard and are STI topmounts better than UK cars' topmounts.

std sti mounts have rubber in the construction, after market ones have no rubber and so have less 'give' in them. For better steering feel and more direct handling, with the disadvantage of more noise and vibration.
