Default steering rack bush size - 1999

I think mine are 30mm as per later impreza's + new age cars can anyone just back me up whos bought uprated steering rack bushes for a 1999/2000/2001 classic

mine were the 30mm larger ones on a 98 sti. jdm.

20min jobs tops by the looks of it Mit - just need to know what size bushes to get and il do it

If you jack your car up, slide yourself under to about where the subframe is, you cant miss it, looks like 4 x 12mm's, mounts off, old bushes out, new bushes in, mounts on!

meant to improve steering response!

hi theres 2 sizes for clsssic 25mm and 30mm whiteline do both sizes guys

I'll have to measure mine to see what size they are, sounds like another worthwhile cheap mod!

Yeah **** easy job. If you have a kurb you dont even need to jack it.

I changed a lot of things at once and im not sure i notice a difference?

My 1999 Steering rack bushes are 30mm

Ordered from scoobyparts for £22

They should be 30mm, and if your going with Whiteline the part number should be ksr202. And yes they make a serious improvement in steering feel. Great mod for the price!!
