My WRX (05) has a lumpy ride problem, and no its not the wife ;-)

Main dealer says that it is the rear offside strut that needs replacing and quoted £450 inc. for the job.

Are there any alternatives, ie fixing it ? or getting different kit fitted to the rears or front and back?

if so what would you recommend and what would it cost?

well u can get a whole Coilover kti fully adjustable brand new for 600. (BC - look in the group buy section n contact bren)

Fitting/alignment i cant imagine more than 200? Or do it yourself for free..
