Default AST clunk, squeak, rattle

Have a set of AST Type 25 on bugeye. The rear suspension makes a fair bit of racket over broken roads which Cyprus is full of. It is okay over speed humps with no noise, but on potholed and patched tarmac it is terrible. When cornering and hit a few bumps the unladen side is noisier. More of squeaking rattle.

It is better the harder the suspension is, but then you lose the little bit of ride comfort.

Recently was 'failed' on MOT due to one of the rear shocks showing up as having a problem. No oil leaks or any other obvious problem so they fudged it for me and got it to pass.

Any ideas??

They'll just need a service. Anyone who can service dampers like Proflex, Moton, JRZ, Reiger, Penske, Ohlins etc. will be able to service the AST dampers. Alternatively, get them off the car, send them to AST in Holland (TNT, UPS, DHL or DPD should be able to do that in 2 days) and get them to service them. Doesn't take long and is not expensive......
