Handling effect of this geometry/alignment settings?
Hello!
What is the effect of this alignment settings to the handling? Guess wondering what's the effect of the Rear Positive Toe, the differences in front caster and rear camber which are fixed.
MY97 WRX (current settings)
Front Caster
Left = 2.9 deg
Right= 3.1 deg
Front Camber
Left =1.9 deg
Right=1.9 deg
Front Toe
Left =0 deg
Right=0 deg
Rear Camber
Left =1.2 deg
Right=1.6 deg
REAR TOE
Left =0.05 deg
Right=0.05 deg

I would say that geometry setting should give you a nicely balanced, stable set up that would be good for fast road use as long as the camber is negative and not positive!
The smidge of positive toe on the rear should keep the car nice and stable.

Was wondering with the rear toe-in because of those I read from other posts. Also am not sure how exactly is 0.05 degrees converts into millimeters, as the from the other posts max should just be 1mm and for some to just go 0mm.

Very roughly 1.0 degree equates to about 10 mm across 600 mm (ie 2 ft wheel diameter). You can apply this to toe or camber.
0.05 deg toe will be 0.5 mm toe so 0.05 deg each side will be 1.0 mm total toe. If I remember Damian Harty's thread correctly, rear toe IN should aid stability at the expense of agility and the opposite at the front.
1.9 deg neg camber should give good front end grip at the expense of a bit of inner tread wear. I'm using 3.0 deg neg for track which is great powering out of long corners but my inner tread wear is high. Put a vertical spirit level next to the tyre and if it leans in 10 mm at the top this is about 1.0 deg of neg camber.
