Pretty much track settings you've got there with the aggressive cambers.

If it's exclusively weekend intensive hooning, you should be OK

I would keep a very close eye on inside edge front tyre wear though as you wouldn't want to spoil your fronts

I wouldn't want it that severe for every day driving. But as said, if it's a track car it sounds great.

In that case the camber's too much for that use

The front camber needs to be more like the rear, and the rear perhaps a tad less (1.3 both sides would be fine)

Something like this:

(watch your ride height too as it's on the border of being too low)

I thought it was too low as well but I edited so as not to interfere Measure from the arch to the wheel centre as a more accurate measurement too

So is this pictured diagram a good fast road setup? If I get my set up the same, what ride height should I go for?

If I can ask a question to Bonesetter......

is the setup you kindly give above all OK for a Bug WRX Wagon.. or do you just refer to the Camber?? 100% fast road.

I ask as I have
4 new stock dampers + Camber bolts,
STI lower wishbones (castor modded),
Whiteline ALK,
22mm R-ARB and
Whiteline HD Drop links
going on the car in the very near future.

Im think of as much Castor as he can get up to +4.1'
Camber -1.4 up to -1.5' front and rear.
Toe +0.05

Yes, the print out settings will be fine for your wagon, and all settings would apply (apart from castor)

As you are increasing castor (nice move), this will hold dynamic camber better, so I would say -1.5° OK, but as a max on the rear, with perhaps slightly more up front.

See how the car handles with those settings and your new kit fitted and you can always tweak from there

My preference is usually to go for max front grip (so the front NEVER understeers) and a little bit of provokable oversteer

I will report back after tommorow when car gets it work done...

assuming they have time to do it all...
I have a smell of petrol when its cold so they now are going to do the TSB for the fuel lines.. which is about 4 hours which I have to pay for...

OK. no new setup on the front, garage didnt have any time in the PM, so just fid the fuel feed/manifold TSB and fitted the rear dampers..

but bloody hell, didnt realise how far gone the old dampers were.. totally differnt ride on the way home.. much smoother, not feeling every bump n ripple in the road.

front end changes now due in spring at next service.
