Default B. R. Developments

It’s now virtually 10 years since B R Developments commercially mapped it’s first Sti 5 using a Link aftermarket engine management system. Those were the days when many tuning companies were adamant that it was impossible to reliably tune an Impreza to 300 bhp. How things have changed.

Based in Swindon, North Wiltshire but travelling country and worldwide to tune Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles, BRD has invested a huge amount of time and effort to fully and completely understand these high performance cars, their capabilities and their limits at all levels of tune.

Certain models of vehicle, such as the Legacy Twin Turbo, are avoided by most tuners; these particular cars use high compression engines making them particularly susceptible to UK fuel. However we have put the time into understanding what makes them tick and unreservedly offer the same remap service for them as any other model.

Currently, we work with all Subaru, Mitsubishi and other non Japanese vehicles (such as Porsche) using with a variety of engine management systems, including the factory supplied units, to best suit the customers objective’s and budget.

Factory ecu’s are remapped using the well know EcuTek software in the case of Subaru and Mitsubishi, other vehicles are adjusted using a suite of software provided by a well known Italian software developer. We are, however, prepared to work with whatever software best suits the need of our customers and custom one off's for individual vehicles are not avoided.

Aftermarket engine management systems include SimTek, Link Electrosystems, Motec, Apexi, Gems, DTA, and Autronic.

Full pre and post mapping support and advice is freely available. The right choice of supporting modifications will make a real difference to the results obtained.

Competitive pricing that includes discount for “specialist car” owners club’s is always available and group buy arrangements are welcome.
