Who you with Greg? Most of the specialist broker KP, Sky, A Plan should have it covered.

Nothing to declare there imho buddy it's standard equipment.

If it obviously flashes up as a GL or what ever some imports do, just make sure you rectify it, but that goes without saying

I'm currently with Adrian flux but I am going to be shopping around. Already found a far better quote than my renewal price and still got a few other's to ring So i'm taking it that the jdm hawks came with twinscroll turbo's already on them did they? if they did them I can only see the insurance coming down a touch more well I hope lol.

You need a specialist insurer mate to recognise it for what it is, the decent ones will as a Type 20, any other additions outside the Type 20 mould will need to be declared.

Hi greg, as mentioned by the trooper there are plenty out there worth trying. When getting prices on various cars prior to buying one sky insurance was the best price - that's not to say they will be for everyone. They were very easy to deal with, sorted out the insurance whilst rob drove me to look at the spec c you seen me in the other day. Only thing that was not helping me out was when they all asked " have you had a performance car before" and I responded yes I have a 210 bhp Seat leon diesel........ doesn't quite help matters lol. For reference I paid bang on £800 FC in my name 8 years NCB and 3 points. Didn't think that was bad as a first performance car!! And to be fair it is down on my certificate as a Spec C Type RA.

Mentioning scoobynet helped bring the prices down for sure. All the contact details for various insurers I tried can be found here:
